Zelma "Annie" Anna Brown

Zelma Anna "Annie" Brown, 92, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018.

She was born in Woodstock, Kentucky on July 8, 1925, daughter of the late John Walter and Mary Alice Todd Brown. She was a housekeeper. She loved her flowers, gardening and quilting. At the time of her passing, she was the oldest living member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church, having been baptized in 1946.

She is survived by three sisters, Wilma Christine West of Somerset, Rose & (Bob) Richardson of White Lily and Berdina Grady of Greenwood, IN, nephews, Eugene Brown, Tony & (Donna) Richardson, Tim Richardson and Doug & (Amy) Grady, niece, Teresa & (Eugene) Mundy and several other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Walter & (Irene) Brown, Jr. and William H. "Bill" Brown, one sister, Mary Bernice Brown, two half brothers, Thomas Brown and Bradford Brown, two half sisters, Lora Anderson and Elizabeth Robbins and two brothers-in-law, Leroy Grady and Alonzo West.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Bradley Goforth and Doylan Horst officiating.

Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Willailla.

Visitation will be after 10 AM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
