Wymer L. Wilson, 79, of Eubank, Kentucky passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Jean Waddle Care Center.
He was born in Ansel, Kentucky on June 6, 1938; son of the late Hurston "Turk" and Stella Waddle Wilson. He was a farmer, and member of Eubank Baptist Church.
He is survived by one son, Jeff & (Mitzi) Wilson of Science Hill; one daughter, Teresa & (Bobby) Bruner of London, KY; a sister, Shirley Ross of the Ansel Community; three grandchildren, Scotty Wilson, Hannah Bruner and Nate Bruner; two step grandchildren, Cortney Carter and Ashley Dykes; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Mae Dye Wilson, who passed away on October 8, 2009; his parents; two sons, Gregory L. Wilson and James Wilson; and a sister, Barbara Campbell.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Shelby Reynolds and Bro. Scott Hughes officiating.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
