Wilma Howerton

Wilma Howerton, 75, of Science Hill, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

She was born October 24, 1944 in Ansel, Kentucky; daughter of the late Edgar D. & Opal Ovaline (Campbell) Moore. She was a retired manager of Bob Evans in Somerset and member of Ansel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Howerton; two brothers, Carrol Eugene Moore of Winchester and Douglas Brent Moore of Sardinia, Ohio; two sisters, Helen Agnes & (Charles) Hendricks and Carolyn Ann Mofield, both of Science Hill; a sister-in-law, Reca Moore of Science Hill; several nieces & nephews, including special nieces, Cassie Romer, Karen Mofield Waters, & Jeanette Campbell.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, William Murphy Moore and David Edgar & (Melvina) Moore; a sister, Beverly Jeanette Moore; and a sister-in-law, Lilian Moore.

A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the Sardis Cemetery with Bro. Chuck Woodcock officiating.
