William Lester "Bill" Wesley, age 81, of Science Hill, Kentucky, formerly of Centre, Alabama, passed away on May 31,2026 at Cumberland Nursing and Rehabilitation.

He was born on September 9, 1944. He spent over 20 years working as a Master Printer in Lexington, Kentucky. Following his retirement, he moved to Centre, Alabama, where he enjoyed life on Lake Weiss.

He will be remembered for his love of fishing for crappie, a good cold Mt. Dew, and a well crafted sarcastic joke.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 48 years, Barbara Ann Wesley; his mother, Lula Jane Wesley; his father, Noah Forage Wesley; his brothers, Willis Loyd Wesley and Walter Lewis Wesley; his sister, Mary Elizabeth Wesley; and his stepchildren, Valerie Jean Carter and Robert Joseph Horstman.

He is survived by his son, Noah Thomas Wesley (Annette Marie); his grandsons, Matthew Thomas Wesley and John Aaron Wesley; his great-granddaughters, Aaliyah Marie Wesley and Harper Julian Wesley; his sister in laws, Joanne Wesley and Joella Kay Wesley; his stepchildren, Janet Lynn Hortman and John Phillip Horstman; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of William Lester Wesley.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 8, 2026 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 1:00 PM until time for services.
