William R. Hubble

William R. "Bill" Hubble, 88, of Somerset passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the Somerset Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility.

He was born February 2, 1934 in Woodstock; son of the late Coy R. & Jamima (Abbott) Hubble. He was a licensed barber for 54 years, owned and operated Hubble's Barber Shop for 47 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Somerset. He is a United States Air Force Veteran, having served from 1956 to 1960, and was a Kentucky Colonel.

He is survived by his wife, Edna B. (Taylor) Hubble, to whom he was married on July 15, 1957; a son, William Kris & (Linda) Hubble of Ballwin, Missouri; two brothers, Marion & (Anita) Hubble of Eubank and John Ivan Hubble of Somerset; and a grandchild, Molly Hubble of Dallas, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and three sisters.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ryan Coffey and Bro. David Pendley officiating.

Burial will be in Woodstock Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 10:00 AM Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

The family has requested that all visitors please wear masks during the visitation and services.
