William Lyle Havens

William ("Bill") Lyle Havens, age 79, passed away on February 7, 2026. He was born on November 24, 1946, in Niagara Falls, New York.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Mary Lou Havens.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jean Havens, and his four children: Russell Havens (Terri), Bill Havens, Tony Havens (Annie), and Jackie Widmer (Craig). Bill was a proud grandfather to Sarah Havens, Owen Havens, Henry Havens, Tori Havens, Elijah Widmer, and Norah Widmer.

Bill was the longtime owner of Steamkraft Carpet Cleaners, which he operated for over 50 years, and Spring Grove Christmas Tree Farm in New Richmond, Ohio. He proudly served in the United States Navy and was an avid Boy Scout leader, dedicating countless hours to mentoring young people. He also served his community as a Monroe Township Trustee.

Bill had a deep love for life and people. He especially enjoyed dancing, camping, playing cards, and boating. He will be remembered for his amazing stories, strong work ethic, community involvement, and love for his family.

A celebration of Bill's life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Crossroads Eastside (Chapel), 4450 Eastgate S Dr, Cincinnati, OH with visitation starting at 12:30pm and Memorial service beginning at 1:30pm.
