William "WeeWee" Adkins II, 32, passed away the morning of May 8 2026 far too soon, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply and a community that will never forget him. He was born on March 12, 1994, in Somerset, Kentucky, to William Adkins and Glenda Rees.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Adkins, and his aunt, Brenda Sammons, and his grandmothers, Evelyn Schaade and Janice Trimble.
WeeWee is survived by his wife, Rebecca Adkins. He was a proud, devoted father to his children, his daughter, Brooklynn Adkins, and his three sons, Kaiden Crabtree, Landon Crabtree, and William Adkins III. His children were his greatest joy and his proudest accomplishment, and there was nothing he wouldn't do for them.
He is also survived by his stepmother, Toni Taylor; his brother, Jacob Brewer; his aunts, Momma Linda Cook (James) and Mattie Sullivan (Dewayne); his uncles, Mike Mounce and Christian Richards; his grandpas, Jerry Schaade and Paul Mounce; mother in law Elsie Glover (Johnny), Special family friends Nick Taylor (Michelle) and Micheal Coomer (Marlina), as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends who became family over the years.
WeeWee was more than just a friend or family member, he was the kind of person who made you feel at home the moment you met him. He had a heart that was as big as his smile, and he gave his love freely without hesitation. He was the one you could count on, the one who would show up, and the one who would make sure you were okay-even if he was going through something himself.
He loved the outdoors! Whether he was hunting, riding four-wheelers, or preparing for derbies, he lived life with a sense of adventure and freedom that was truly his own. He didn't just participate in life, he embraced it fully, always chasing moments that made him feel alive.
But more than anything, WeeWee loved to make people laugh. He had a way of turning ordinary moments into memories you'd never forget. His laughter was contagious, his energy was unmatched, and his presence could light up any room. He was truly the life of the party... not because he tried to be, but because his spirit was genuine, joyful, and impossible to ignore.
WeeWee was unapologetically himself. He never looked for approval, never pretended to be anything other than who he was, and followed his heart in everything he did.
Above all else, he was a family man. His love for his wife and children was the foundation of his life. He took pride in being a father, in being present, and in creating a life his family could cherish. The bond he shared with them will never be broken, and his love will continue to guide them every single day.
Though his time here was far too short, the impact WeeWee made will last a lifetime. He leaves behind memories that will be held close, stories that will be told for years to come, and a love that will never fade. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
