Wanda Sue Garrett

Wanda Sue Garrett, 68, of Bethelridge, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022, at her residence.

She was born on August 8, 1954; daughter of the late Earl D. and Ruthie Mae (Godbey) Spears. She was a caregiver, and a member of Mt. Olive Christian Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary (Spears) Prichard of Yosemite; and Wendy (Garrett) Payton of Liberty; sisters, Nancy Foster of Bethelridge, and Iva Clements of Nancy; brothers, Prentice Spears, Bill Spears, and Roy Junior Spears all of Ohio; four grandchildren, Joel, Amber, Owen, and Carter; four great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Ian, Ayden, and Trey.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Betty Mullins; brothers, Garfield Spears, William Herschel Spears, Travis Denzil Spears, and Doie Spears.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Friday, December 16, 2022 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Powell and Bro. Gene Sweet officiating.

Burial will be in Bethelridge Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 10 AM Friday, December 16, 2022 until time for services.
