Walter Thompson, 71, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Friday, November 9, 2018.
He was born in Berea, Kentucky on December 6, 1946, son of the late Warren Green and Mary Margaret Gibbons Thompson.
He is survived by two sons, Jeff & (Diana) Stamper and Robert & (Shanna) Thompson, three daughters, Mary Margaret & (Anthony) Kirorei, Rebecca & (Chuck) Thomas and Cathleen & (Danny) Newton, one sister, Treva Jane Nash, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Richard Thompson and one sister, Clara Sue.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11 AM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
