Virginia Calhoun

Virginia "Jenny" Calhoun, age 80, passed away October 19, 2023 at her home in Lancaster, Kentucky. She was born in Eubank, Kentucky September 15, 1943 to Marjorie Ballou  and Ervan Faw. 

She will be remembered as a very sweet lady who enjoyed spending time with her family, attending Eubank Church of Christ where as a member she took a very active role singing in the choir and being involved in church activities. Jenny Loved to sing and she and her husband traveled to many nursing homes to sing for the residents there. She was a skilled cake decorator and worked making cakes for the Kroger Company for several years. She enjoyed crafts and and listening to gospel music and hearing her son-in-law play gospel music. She loved and enjoyed her grandchildren and had a very special relationship with her great granddaughter Taylor. She was much loved and will be greatly missed.

Jenny is survived by her children, Robin (Chris) Saylor of Lancaster, Kentucky, Rick (Doris) Perdue of Macy, Indiana, four grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, her siblings; Wade (Edna) Faw of Cookville, Tennessee, Linda (Tom) Louhis of Richland, Oregon, Betty Rogers of Danville, Kentucky, and Opie Smith of Clarksville, Indiana. 
She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will mourn her passing. 

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Evan Faw and Marjorie Ballou and her spouse Cline Calhoun. 

Funeral services for Jenny will be held Monday, October 23, 2023 at Morris and Hislope Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with Bro. Dale Robins officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM till time for services. 

Burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery.
