Vina Loeda Haggard

Vina Loeda Haggard, 88, of Science Hill, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 at her residence.

 

She was born February 13, 1933 in Casey County; daughter of the late Luther & Mary Nancy (Warren) Haste. She worked as a farmer and was of the Methodist faith.

 

She is survived by her son, Hobert J. & (Karen) Haggard of Science Hill; a daughter, Loretta Sharp of Nancy; a brother, Robin Haste of Pennsylvania; a brother-in-law, Glen & (Charlcie) Haggard of the Pulaski Community; and several nieces and nephews.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Millard Van Haggard, to whom she was married on August 30, 1948 until his passing on November 22, 2002; four brothers, Alonzo Haste and Earl, Henry, & Coy Spears; a sister, Lucille Barber; a son-in-law, Ronnie Sharp; a brother-in-law, Reid & (Olife) Haggard; and a sister-in-law Iona & (Roscoe) Hall.

 

A burial will be held 10:00 AM Monday, October 18, 2021 at Bethelridge Cemetery.
