Tracey Darlene Wesley

Tracey Darlene Wesley, 65, of Hanover, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at her residence.

She was born on April 13, 1961 to the late Lowell & Marlene (Smiley) Meece in Somerset, Kentucky. Tracey was a proud graduate of Pulaski County High School, Class of 1979, and went on to earn her Bachelors Degree from Morehead State University and her Masters Degree from Eastern Kentucky University. She devoted 16 years to educating and mentoring young people, teaching Home Economics at Pulaski County High School and Southern Junior High School until a stroke in 2002 brought her teaching career to an unexpected close. Her students held a special place in her heart, and she found great joy in helping them learn and grow. Tracey was a faithful member of Memorial Baptist Church in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and had previously been a devoted member of Beacon Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Mitchell Denton Wesley, whom she married October 6, 1995; her son, Zachary Austin Wesley, "her dream come true" & (Jasmine Newland) of Shippensburg, PA; her sister, Jennifer Kay Harris of Somerset, KY; a sister-in-law, Kathy & (Phil) Middleton of Eubank, KY; and a host of other family members and friends who will miss her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Leslie Diane Meece.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Bullock officiating.

Entombment will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
