Thelma Mae Haste

Thelma Mae Haste, 98, of Shelbyville, Indiana formerly of Science Hill, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Ashford Place.

She was born in Frankfort, IN., on February 1, 1921; daughter of the late Shedrick and Bertha Wheeler Wesley.

She is survived by her sister, Betty Sneed of Franklin, Indiana. She had no children but was a mother figure to Deborah Wesley Walker; and the late, William “Billy” Wesley.

Preceded in death by her husband, Dennie Haste; sisters, Evelyn Wesley, Gladys Wesley, Kathleen Shubert, Ruth Florey, Dora Hall, Jane Wesley, Sylvia Hodge; and her brothers, Herman Wesley and Oscar Wesley.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Glen Pettigrove officiating.

Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery, Science Hill.

Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
