October 22, 1950 ~ November 15, 2021

 

Terry Gordon New, beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend, peacefully passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 to be with his Lord, Jesus Christ. He is joyfully reunited with his wife, Donna Taylor New, married on June 8, 1974, and his two daughters, Casey Lynn and Terra Dawn, whom he lost in a car accident on February 18, 1991.

 

Terry graduated from Eubank High School in 1968. He served our country in the United States Army from 1970 to 1972 and later retired from Kentucky State Department of Agriculture in 2013. He always wore a smile on his face and loved farming, riding 4-wheelers, but mostly spending time with his family and friends. 

 

He will be forever loved and remembered by his sisters, Donna & (Ron) Sumpter, Doris & (Doyle) Hall, and Shirley & (Lanny) Cook; his nieces & nephews, Daniel & (Sarah) Hall, Daisha & (Michael) Lile, Lakeia & (Andy) Doss, and Kasandra & (Chad) Cummings; his great nieces & nephews, Gunner Hall, Hattie Hall, Cash Lile, Anniston Doss, Lincoln Doss, Savannah Cummings, Clay Cummings; a host of friends; and a very special friend, Jane Colyer, whome the family is forever grateful for her love for Terry. She was an angel in Terry's life when he needed it most.

 

He is also preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Clate & Ruby (Davis) New and a sister, Regina New Blevins.

 

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Pulaski Baptist Church Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome.
