Talmadge Michael "Big Foot" Erp

Talmadge Michael "Big Foot" Erp, 62, of Eubank, Kentucky passed away Thursday, April 6, 2018 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

He was born in Somerset, on August 11, 1955; son of Shirley Mae Erp Slavey Harris, and the late Talmadge Erp. He was a retired truck driver, and enjoyed dirt track racing. He professed faith in Jesus Christ at an early age and was a member of New Heart Baptist Church, and a member of the America Legion.

He is survived by his sons, Michael & (Amy) Erp, and Shannon & (Ashley) Erp; a daughter, Tamara & (Danny) Terry all of Eubank; two sisters, Kathy & (Joe) Phelps of Campbellsville, and Sharon Ramsey of Science Hill; a fiancée, Teresa Day of Somerset; and four grandchildren, Damien Erp, Chloe Erp, Brooke Erp, and Wyatt Erp.

He was preceded in death by his father, Talmadge Erp; a grandfather, James Squire Slavey, and a brother, James Byrl Erp.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Monday, April 9, 2018 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Lawson officiating.

Burial will be in Piney Grove Cemetery #1.

Visitation will be after 5 PM Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
