Sylvia B. Brown

Sylvia B. Brown, 92, of Eubank, passed away Monday, January 6, 2020 at the Somerset Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility.

She was born in Bandy, Kentucky on November 4, 1927; daughter of the late William Henry & Josie Pearl (Logston) Reynolds. She was a member of Walnut Grove Church of Christ.

She is survived by two sons, Jonas W. & (Brenda) Brown III of Eubank and Donnie & (Carol) Brown of Somerset; a daughter, Judy & (Joe) Carter of Somerset; three grandchildren, Jackson & (Kayla) Carter of Somerset, Justin Robert Carter of Fort Knox, Jesse Travis & (Laura) Carter, also of Fort Knox; three great-grandchildren, Jonas Randall Carter, Madison Anne Carter, & James Warren; a niece, Linda McPheron & (Ronnie) Adams of Brodhead; and cousins, Pauline Burton, Dorothy Todd, Sue Long, & Virginia Desjarins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jonas W. Brown, Jr.; a sister, Viola McPheron; a nephew, Larry Wayne McPheron; and a daughter-in-law, Shirley Brown.

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, January 10, 2020 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Marvin Cromer & Bro. Gerald Ashley officiating.

Burial will be in Woodstock Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
