Susan Wesley

Susan Anderson Wesley, 64, of Science Hill, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2024 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on January 12, 1960; daughter of the late Tom and Wilma (Miller) Anderson. She worked for Farm Bureau. Susan was a member of New Heart Baptist Church. She loved singing for the Lord, spending time with her family and friends, riding the golf cart with her husband, playing games, and going on vacation.

She is survived by her husband, Clay Wesley whom she married on August 5, 1978; her daughter, Holly Wesley; grandchildren, Makayla Lynn Wesley and Austin James Wesley; a sister, Debbie & (Steve) Cowan; mother-in-law, Mary Wesley; two special friends, Wanda McMahan and Kim Daulton; like sons, Greg Barron and Lee Acey; and a host of relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jamie Cowan; two siblings, Vickie Whiles and Andy Anderson; father-in-law, Claude Wesley; and like a son, Shannon Epperson.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Lawson officiating.

Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM Monday, May 20, 2024 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
