Sue Albertson Burton, 86, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at home.
She was born in Albany, Kentucky on June 17, 1932, daughter of the late R.H. and Mollie Boyles Albertson. She was a line worker for Lear Siegler and a member of Northside Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Randy & (Annette) Burton of Eubank, three daughters, Connie & (Tommy) Claunch of Eubank, Sharon & (Bill) Wesley of Science Hill and Jennifer Burton & (Jeff Hall) of Somerset, eight grandchildren, Shelia Gregory, Scott Haste, Ben Burton, Blake Burton, Brad Burton, Jennifer Witt, Amy May and Beth Godbey, nine great-grandchildren, Ashley Burge, Kyra Haste, Austin Wilson, Halie Ware, Macey Witt, Jake Witt, Christian Godbey, Carlee Godbey and Cameron Godbey, one great-great-grandchild, Mason Burge, special sister-in-law, Helen Smith, a special niece, Hannah Collins and special friends, Mable Elliott and Lucille Morgan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Burton, her parents, one son, Ricky Burton, five brothers, Earnest, Wendell, Jess, Ben and John Preston Albertson and two sisters, Lola Melton and Marie Wagner.
A special thanks to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, November 2, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Vola Brown, Bro. David Muse and Bro. Brian Owens officiating.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
