Simon Whitaker

Simon Dewayne Whitaker, passed away in infancy on Monday, December 29, 2025.

Son of Riley & Sarah (Stogsdill) Whitaker; he is survived by his brother, Cecil Ray Whitaker; maternal grandparents, Dewayne & Melinda Stogsdill; paternal grandparents, Stephen & Jamie Whitaker; maternal great-grandparents, Jackie & Carol Clines; paternal great-grandparents, Patricia Ann Whitaker, Paulette & James Ramsey; aunt, Emily Stogsdill & (Jacob Stephens); Uncles Braxton & (Kellie) Whitaker and Martin & (Destiny) Whitaker; a cousin, Indie Whitaker; and a host of family and friends.

Simon was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandfather, Ray Whitaker; and maternal great-grandparents, Marlin and Wilma Stogsdill.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12 PM to 2 PM Friday, January 2, 2026 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at 3 PM at Acorn Cemetery with Bro. Logan Graham officiating.
