Shirley Ann Whitter Franklin Ridner, 61, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018.
She was born in Faubush, Kentucky on June 17, 1956, daughter of the late Rev. Charles William and Lou Eva Morris Whitter. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by one son, Scottie Franklin & (Belinda Bell), one daughter, Tracie Franklin Lyles & (Michael), all of Eubank, siblings, Mary Whitter McKinney, Charles Eugene "Gene" Whitter and Marie Keeney, seven grandchildren, Brandon Franklin, Hunter Franklin, Heather Franklin, Devin Lyles, Nathan Lyles, Damien Lyles and Iclynn Lyles, special aunt, Alice Spezia, several nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter-in-law, Casandra Hines-Franklin and brother-in-law, Paul Keeney.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 10 AM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donation to Shirley Ann Ridner Memorial Fund, C/O Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
