Shawn Robert McClure

Shawn Robert McClure, 37, of Burnside, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at his residence.

He was born August 10, 1983 in Dayton, Ohio; son of Robert & Karen (Hunt) McClure of Science Hill. He was an installation technician for Middleton Signs & car audio. He loved his family and enjoyed being outdoors. He was very talented working on cars, trucks, & lawn mowers.

He is survived by his parents; a sister, Amber Williams of Science Hill; and two nephews, Brayden Williams & Maverick Zunda; maternal grandparents, Donald & Nancy Hunt of Huber Heights, Ohio; many aunts, uncles, & cousins; he left behind another family that he loved dearly, Middleton Signs and Team Obnoxious Family & Friends; his girlfriend, Frances Middleton Elmore and her son, Cody Elmore; mother of his girlfriend, Mary Middleton and her children, Rickie & April Middleton, Michael & Tracie Lyles, and Melissa Lyles.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Carl & Ada Mae McClure; paternal great-grandparents, Frank & Alley Price; maternal grandmother Sharon Hughes Hunt; and maternal great-grandparents, Kenneth & Della Hunt and Oliver & Ruby Hughes.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
