Sharon Wesley

Sharon Sue Wesley, 64, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Monday, October 5th, 2020 at her residence surrounded by family.

She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 5th, 1956; daughter of the late Harold and Shirley Leigh. She was a substitute teacher for all the local area schools and was a member of Southside Church of Christ in Somerset, Kentucky. She loved spending time with her family and friends, going to church and singing her favorite hymns.

She was the beloved mom of Stacey & (Darron) Absher of Science Hill and Kevin & (Cierra) Wesley of Lexington and the loving Nan-Nan of Maddie-Sue and Leighcy Absher of Science Hill and Easton and Coraline Wesley, of Lexington. She was the loving daughter of Johnie Leigh of Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the loving sister to Debbie & (Jerry) Allen of Science Hill and loving niece to her aunt, Donna Colyer, of Science Hill and her Uncle James (Bev) Payne of Cincinnati, Ohio. She leaves behind a host of family and friends to mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Leigh, her father, Harold Leigh and her brother, Harold William Leigh.

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, October 8th, 2020 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Williams officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Thursday, October 8th, 2020 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
