Sharon K. Edens

Sharon K. Edens, 62, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Jean Waddle Care Center, Hospice of Lake Cumberland.She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on July 21, 1955, daughter of the late Robert and Grace Latham Walden. Sharon was a 1973 graduate of Pulaski County High School. She was a cook at Southwestern High School and a member of Ansel Baptist Church.She is survived by her husband, Gerald Edens, one son, Brian Scott Edens & (Staci), all of Science Hill, two sisters, Linda Walden Jones & (Michael Heath) of Burnside and Wanda Walden McMahan & (Lynn) of Science Hill and six grandchildren, Jaylan, Josh, Gracie, Audrie, Brian and Evan Edens.She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Dennie Ray Edens and one sister, Gale Ann Correll.A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
