Sharon Ruth Dupre, 81, of Brodhead, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the VA Hospital in Lexington.
She was born October 30, 1941 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa; daughter of the late Norman Leroy & Ruth (Bartlett) Strain. Sharon was a United States Army Veteran.
She is survived by her siblings, Harrison & (Shirley) Strain of Brodhead, Kentucky, John & (Ronna) Strain of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Carolyn & (Bill) Walantus of LaBella, Florida.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Norman & (Darlene) Strain, Jeffrey & (Carolyn) Strain, Steven & (Barabara) Strain, and Bruce, Boyd, and Isaac Strain.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, February 23, 2024, at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Bullock officiating.
Burial will be in the Etna Church of Christ Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 12:00 PM February 23, 2024, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
