Scott Lee DeLong, 55 of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018.
He was born in Akron, Ohio on November 26, 1962, son of Phyllis Sees Williams and the late Jack Raymond DeLong. He was a truck driver for Eagle Hardwood and a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon, KY. He turned his life over to the Lord and was ready to meet his Savior. He enjoyed riding his RZR and motorcycle. He also enjoyed music and loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Anderson DeLong, whom he married on June 3, 2017, one daughter, Brandy & (Jesse) Howell of Norwalk, OH, one son, Christopher & (Krystal) DeLong of Mansfield, OH, his mother, Phyllis Williams of Eubank, step children, Trampus Anderson, Travis Anderson, Trevor & (Makayla) Anderson and Steven Anderson, sisters, Barb & (Don) Barrett of Eubank and Michelle & (Scottie) Bullock of Mt. Vernon, brother, Jeff Williams of Akron, OH, grandchildren, Dakota Howell, Jacob Stephens, Brayden Stephens, Kylie Howell and Lucas DeLong, step grandchildren, Kaytra, Kaden, Connor, Collin, Collie and Serenity, several nieces and nephews and his special friend, Sassy his dog.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack DeLong, step father, Bernard Williams, brother, Bernie Williams and grandparents, Jack and Ann DeLong and Francis and Lucy Sees.
A funeral service will be held at 4 PM Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Clyde Miller officiating.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 3 PM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
