Sally Lee Anderson

Sally Lee Anderson, 88, of Waynesburg, passed away peacefully Monday, April 6, 2020 at the Landmark of Lancaster Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

She was born on July 4, 1931 in Evansville, Indiana; daughter of the late John Arthur & Bessie Evans. She was a member of Parlor Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Jean (McAninch) Padgett, Rita (McAninch) Slone, & Carnetta (McAninch) Collins, all of Waynesburg; seven grandchildren, Kinley Sims, Wendell Sims, Janica Carrier, Justin Padgett, Carrie Jean Slone, Tenisha Collins, & Brandon Collins; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jessie Elvis Anderson, who passed on June 23, 2010; a daughter, Judy Marie (McAninch) Sims; three brothers, John, Fred, & Frank Myers; three sisters, Barbara Kemp, Betty & (Basil) Walters, & Johanna Evans; and a granddaughter, Tuanya Slone.

Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery.

The service will be officiated by Bro. Mike Mullins.
