Rosemary Godbey, 77, of Science Hill, Kentucky passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024 at Cumberland Nursing & Rehab.
She was born in King Bee, Kentucky on April 13, 1947; daughter of the late Ernie and Emma (Spaw) Mofield. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, and a former wife of Emery Godbey. Rosemary enjoyed singing in the choir, loved gardening, and taking care of flowers. She was a member of King Bee Baptist Church and in later years she attended Love Divine Baptist Church where she sang in the choir.
She is survived by her children, Dinnia & (Brian) Woosley, David & (Melinda) Godbey, Eddie & (Juda) Godbey, and Kathy & (Terry) Chewning; a brother, Donald Mofield; grandchildren, Amanda & (Bart) Beshears, Kevin Blevins, Jennifer Godbey, Holly & (Lincoln) Riddle, and Bradley Godbey; great-grandchildren, Sydney Beshears, Kinsley Blevins, Kyndall Blevins, Kira Godbey; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Gertrude Webb, Ralph Mofield, and Mildred Dykes.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 25, 2024 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Godbey officiating.
Burial will be in Bethelridge Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after 11:00 AM Saturday, May 25, 2024 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
