Roselean Stogsdill

Roselean Merrick Stogsdill, 75, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024.

She was born July 27, 1948 in Science Hill; daughter of the late Ernal & Bessie (Scrimager) Merrick. Roselean was a former employee of the U.S. Postal Service and Rose's Department Store. She was also a beauty school graduate and a member of the Edgewood Baptist Church in Nicholasville.

She is survived by her brothers, Wilbern Merrick of Lexington and Troy Merrick of Science Hill and a sister, Ruby Merrick Shadoan & (Tommy) of Somerset.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dale Stogsdill; and brothers, Lendon, Ervel, Dale, Vernon, & George Merrick.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Marty Shadoan and Bro. Troy Merrick officiating.

Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held after 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
