Ronald Lee Cox, age 88, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, March 1st, 2024 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on August 7th, 1935 in Ansel, Kentucky to the late Stanley and Winnie Wilson Cox. Ronald was a dedicated Service Station Operator who had a passion for cars, loving everything about them, and auto racing. He also loved his family more than anything.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Godby Cox; four children, Gerald & (Beverly Lefler) Cox, Carol Cox, Becky & (Craig) Lightfoot, and Steve & (Patricia Small) Cox; and six grandchildren, Jarod Cox & (Hannah Grant), Andrew Lightfoot & (Stephanie Mager-Lightfoot), Kaitlyn Lightfoot & (George Webb), Michael Lightfoot, Ashley Cox, and Jacob Cox.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the Science Hill Cemetery.
