Robert Wesley Jefcoat

Robert Wesley Jefcoat, 82, of Somerset and formerly of Evansville, Wyoming, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the VA Medical Center in Lexington.

He was born in Animas City, Colorado on October 23, 1937; son of the late Glen & Dorothy (Brooks) Jefcoat. He served in the U.S. Army & Navy, serving three tours in Vietnam during his assignment with the Navy. He later retired from his work in preventive maintenance for heavy equipment. He was also a member of the Mormon Faith and had been saved under the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by his wife, Josephine Hyden; two sons, Eric Jefcoat, of Loveland, Colorado and Marshall Jefcoat of Shelton, Washington; a daughter, Kristle Jefcoat of Salt Lake City, Utah; two brothers, Dale & Charles Jefcoat; and a sister, Barbara Delgado of San Diego, California.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

At the request of the family services will remain private.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Vietnam Memorial Fund.
