Robert Denzil "Dennie" Elliott

Robert Denzil “Dennie” Elliott passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020 in La Grange, KY. He was 64 years and 2 days old.

Dennie was born to Clovis Denzil and Artie Emerson Elliott on Saturday, June 16, 1956 in Liberty, KY.

Dennie had a big-hearted, friendly disposition and made a warm friend with each acquaintance.

At a young age Dennie professed his faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was baptized into Valley Oak Baptist Church. Throughout his later years, Dennie led many others to Christ through his testimony and unwavering faith. His worn Bible with loose pages was his most prized possession.

Dennie loved music and often entertained his family and friends with the song on his heart. On Sunday evenings you would often times find him and his brothers picking and singing at church. His love of music lasted as long as he lived.

Dennie was a gate hauler by trade which was the perfect occupation for someone with his outgoing, never met a stranger personality.

Left to mourn is a sister and brother; Connie Cravens and Tommy Elliott both of Bethelridge, KY. Also, a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends.

Proceeding him in death are his parents, and a brother and sister; Ronnie Paul Elliott and Priscilla Fay Hatter.

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, June 21, 2020 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Woodcock officiating.

Burial will be in Valley Oak Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 12:00 PM Sunday, June 21, 2020 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
