Robert Clayton "Clay" Collins, 75, of Eubank, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

He was born on October 20, 1944 in Pulaski County; son of the late Samuel Uzera & Lula Alice (Dungan) Collins. He worked as a mail contractor & farmer. He was a member of Love Devine Baptist Church. He was a member of the Masonic Mt. Gilead Lodge # 255.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Jean "Jeanie" Gipson, to whom he was married for 55 years; a son, Robert "Rob" Harold Collins of Eubank; two daughters, Carrie Collins of Somerset and Jennifer Collins & (Andy) Depuy of Georgetown; five grandchildren, Kimberly Nicole & (Jose) Cruz, Heather Collins, Ryan Collins, Jamison Collins, & Alex Depuy; and three great-grandchildren, Gohan Clayton Loveless, Brysyn Robert Portman, & Augustine Leon Cruz.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Harold David & John Alfred Collins; and four sisters, Doris Collins Henry, Betty Collins Shelton, Bessie Collins Shelton, & Patricia Ann Collins.

Private Services will be held on Saturday with Bro. Danny Shelton & Bro. Vestal Meece officiating.

Masonic rights will be given by Mt. Gilead Lodge # 255.

Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Andy Depuy, Alex Depuy, Scott Fredericks, Charlie Hines, Josh Collins, & Nathan Ware.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Shriners Hospitals for Children Medical Center at 110 Conn Terrace Lexington, Ky 40508.

Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
