Rissie Augusta Haught

Rissie Augusta Todd Haught departed this life Saturday evening, December 18, 2020, for a joyous reunion with her late husband of 75 years, Grady Earl Haught and her son, Ronald Wayne Haught (Marlene Cook Haught), in their heavenly home. She was also preceded in death by her father, Lewis Todd, mother Stella Denny Todd, 5 sisters, Lema Epperson (Ray Epperson, Ada Warren (Clarence Warren) Dorothy Emma Todd, Roxie Todd, Annabelle Schlosser (Denver Schlosser) and two brothers, Willard Todd (Zula Todd), and Wiley Todd (Anna Lou Warren and Elizabeth Todd).

Rissie is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Arn (Dr. Horace Stewart) and Kathy Haught (Matthew Lazur), two grandchildren, Grady Earl Haught II and Linda Garcia & (Marty), three great grandchildren, Joshua Haught , Danyelle Haught, and Megan, five great- great grandchildren, Luci Haught, Braylee Wheeler, Kai Haught, Joshua Haught & Remington Haught.

Born in the Good Hope community, August 3, 1922, in a 2-room log cabin, she grew up modestly. She moved to Dayton, Ohio to live with her sister, Ada and eventually married Grady Haught whom she had met at a church service in the Estesburg area.
They lived in Dayton for many years before moving to Colorado with their three children. In Castle Rock, Colorado, Rissie be came certified as an Activities Director and worked in that.

Private Services will be held at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Shelby Reynolds officiating.

Burial will be in Olive Cemetery.
