Ricky Alan Tanner

Ricky Alan Tanner, 43, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

 

He was born October 17, 1977 in Cincinnati; son of Carolyn (Crawford) Tanner & the late Bobby Ray Tanner. He worked as a machinist and enjoyed helping friends do building projects. He was a born & raised country boy at heart and loved living in Science Hill even though he was born in Cincinnati.

 

He is survived by his mother; his fiancé, Miranda Burton; step-children, Brianna Jill, Michael Evan, & Erica Nicole Rutherford; an uncle, Denver Ray & (Marie) Crawford; aunts, Janet & (Mike) Hall, Tammy Crawford, Doris Smith, Connie & (Finley) Jones, and Brenda & (Charlie) Smith; two nephews, Eric & Anthony Franken; a niece, Megan Franken; two great-nephews; and several cousins.

 

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Michelle Renea Wehage.

 

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, November 20, 2020 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Daulton officiating.

 

Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Friday, November 20, 2020 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
