Richard Carl Phelps

Richard Carl Phelps, 57, of Science Hill, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023, at his residence.

He was born September 5, 1965 in Cincinnati; son of the late Jona Lee & Shirley May (Elliott) Phelps. He worked as a Fork Lift Operator for Menzer Hardwoods. Richard enjoyed football, basketball, old cars, and loved his dog, Echo.

He is survived by his wife, Julie (Warfield) Phelps; his children, William Jeremiah Phillip Haste, Chelsey Leann Thompson, Trinitee Paige Roberts, & Nolan John Roberts; a sister, Sharon & (Mark) Krallman; mother-in-law, Jeanie & (John) Warfield; two grandsons, Dagon Allen Clay Thompson & Mathias Thompson Tremblay; and a granddaughter, Willow Kasley Laine Haste.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Christa Lynn Phelps; and two sisters, Pamela Lee Morgan and Deborah Marie Elliott.

Private services will be held.
