Richard Duane Clark

Richard Duane Clark, 53, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at his residence.

He was born in Dayton, OH on April 11, 1964; son of the late Thurl & Sally Hays Smith. He retired as the owner of Rick Clark Roofing. Richard was a faithful follower of Christ, a very proud Veteran of the United States Army, and an avid racing enthusiast.

He is survived by his son, Corey Clark of Richmond; two daughters, Alana & (KJ) Leavell of Lancaster, and Jessica & (Brandon) Wireman of Gunlock, KY; a brother, Charles & (Millie) Clark of Somerset; and a sister, Elizabeth & (Clay) Parks of Eubank; grandchildren, Copely Leavell, Aubrey Wireman, and Brayden Wireman; nieces and nephews, Katie Flynn & (the late Mason Flynn), Lexie Parks & (Evan Warrick), Lindsay & (Terry) Estep, Brandon & (Billie Jean) Clark and Sean Clark; and a host of great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, April 9, 2018 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Bentley Hogan.

Burial will be in Woodstock Cemetery.

Visitation for Mr. Richard Duane Clark will be from 6-8 PM Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard.
