Richard Leroy Bell

Richard Leroy Bell, age 87, passed away peacefully at his home in Leesburg, Florida, on Sunday, September 6, 2026.

A proud military veteran and devoted family man, Richard lived a life centered around his love for his family and those closest to him.

Richard was preceded in death by his beloved grandson, Ryan Bell.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 31 years, JoAnn Bell; two brothers, Bill Bell and Harold Bell (Carol); two sisters, Shirley Ray and Gladys Mack (Joe); and his children, Brigitta Bell, Kris Bell (Regina), Jeff Vineyard (Rebecca), Brett Bell, Randy Dotson (Andrea), and Sharon Loveless (Ricky).

Richard is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends, all of whom he loved and adored.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Richard's final resting place will be at Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, Kentucky.
