Rev. Gilbert Keith, 81, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 at his residence.
He was born in Delta, Kentucky on April 10, 1936, son of the late Marshall and Pearlie Kidd Keith. He was a minister and a member of Dayridge United Baptist Church in Parkers Lake, KY.
He is survived by his wife, Mabel Branscum Keith, one daughter, Lorena Keith, both of Eubank, four sisters, Zella Branscum and Vella Stevens, both of Eubank, Zula Conover of Shepherdsville, KY and Wilma Adams of Eubank. one grandchild, Daniel Alan Keith and one great-grandchild, Hunter Keith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Charles Keith and an infant son, Danny Matthew Keith and seven brothers, Arvil, Delbert, Ira, Clint, Floyd, Paul and Cordus Keith.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Harvey Corder and Bro. Alan Coffey officiating.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post #38 and the Patriot Honor Guard.
Visitation will be after 5 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
