Reva May Cress

Reva May Cress, 82, of Eubank, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022 at her residence.

She was born September 2, 1939 in Breathitt, Kentucky; daughter of the late Andy & Roxie (Campbell) Spencer. She was a homemaker and a member of the United Church of God. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, & spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Verlan Cress, to whom she was married on July 8, 1959; a son, Andy & (Tonya) Cress of Waynesburg, Kentucky; a daughter, Shirley Russell of Somerset, Kentucky; a brother, Morgan Spencer of Eubank, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Bridget Faulkner of Ratcliff, Kentucky, Brianna & (Kurt) Bledsoe of Jackson, Ohio, Caleb & (Carlee) Faulkner of Eubank, Kentucky, Candice Cress of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Austin Cress of Lancaster, Kentucky, Tucker Cress of Waynesburg, Kentucky, and Colton Cress of Waynesburg, Kentucky; and three great-grandchildren, Jacelyn Bledsoe, Wyatt Bledsoe, & Eleanor "Ellie Mae" Faulkner.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Nora Sims & Pearlene Warfield.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Sunday, July 10, 2022 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Ray Cowan officiating.

Burial will be in the Cress Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
