Rebecca Jane Young, 65, of Somerset, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born November 23, 1956 in Somerset; daughter of the late Vernice & Josephine (Burnett) Sutton. She worked as a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, Brandon & (Shawn) Young of Somerset; a step-son Charles & (Suwanna) Young of Somerset; two brothers, James & (Joan) Sutton of Grayson, Kentucky and Chris & (Jenny) Sutton of Science Hill; two sisters, Connie Sutton of Somerset and Tammy & (Galen) Burton of Eubank; a sister-in-law, Debby Sutton of Somerset; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by parents; her husband, Floyd Young, who passed on May 6, 2013; and a brother, Stephen Sutton.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Scotty Nix officiating.
Burial will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
