Rebecca Sue Harper

Rebecca Sue Sears Harper, 70, passed away on October 17, 2026, at her residence. She was born on February 2, 1956, in Pulaski County, Kentucky, to the late Bennie and Rosella Sears.

Rebecca found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including tending to her flowers and garden, adult coloring, and listening to music. She cherished the time spent with her family and the memories they shared throughout her life.

She is survived by her husband, James Harper; her children, Jimmy Harper, Chris Harper, and Jordan Harper; her brother, Ronnie Sears; her grandchildren, Kamryn Jean-Renee Harper, and Adriona Harper, Bennie (Christy) Warren, Keshia (Tyler) Hughes, Danny Butt, Brayden Sims, Alberta Sellers, Kaylee Sellers, Colton Sellers; her great-grandchildren, Haley Warren, Mason Warren, Aubrey Warren, Addison Hughes, TJ Hughes, and Easton Hughes; and a special friend, Donnie Calder.

She was preceded in death by her children, Scott Dagley and Melissa Dagley; her grandson, Tyler Dagley; and her siblings, Delbert Sears, Sherry Sears, Debbie Sears, and Robbie Sears.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Wesley's Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
