Randy Clay Warren

Randy Clay Warren, 61, of Somerset, departed this life on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Jean Waddle Care Center.

Randy was born July 11, 1962 in Somerset; son of Izella (Randolph) Warren and the late Floyd "Blue" Warren.

Randy is survived by his mother; his daughter, Beth Warren; his grandchildren, Isaiah & (Ally) Warren and Immanuel Lowery, all of Science Hill; and his daughter, Latasha Warren and her children, of Alabama. Randy was expecting his first great-grandchild at the end of this year. He is also survived by his brothers, Calvin & (Shelly) Warren of Florida, Bobby & (Tanya) Warren of Somerset, and Billy Warren of Somerset. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Randy was preceded in death by his father, Floyd and sister, Jennifer.

Randy attended New Beginnings Worship Center where he was actively involved in the community by leading the Sow a Seed ministry. He also enjoyed volunteering his time at the warming center.

In Randy's younger years he was known for his voice on the radio announcing the forecast or playing some Hank Williams, Jr. Some of Randy's favorite hobbies were umpiring baseball, going to concerts with his brother, Bobby and working at the racetracks. Even though he enjoyed these things, his favorite was being able to spend time with his grandson, Immanuel.

Randy will always be remembered for his will to never give up and held onto his faith to the end.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, May 3, 2024, at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Bullock and Bro. Richard Ramsey officiating.

Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Friday, May 3, 2024, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
