Randell Layne

Randell Layne, 62, of Somerset, passed away Friday, April 29, 2022 at his home

He was born April 4,1960 in Pikeville; son of the late Joe and Opal (Smith ) Layne. He worked as a truck driver for Lowe's in Pikeville. He also worked at Valley Farm Equipment and 84 Lumber.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years Judy (Coleman) Layne; son James Randell Layne & (Samantha); five grandchildren, Xavier, Cameron, Elijah, & Gavin Layne and Sidney Bess; one sister, Kay Clark & (Steve); along with a host of nieces, nephews, the Coleman family, and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at the Mouth of Joe's Creek Church of Christ on Lower John's Creek in Pikeville with Bro. Ferlin Price and Bro. Dale Robins officiating.

Burial will be in the Layne-Smith Cemetery in Pike County.

Visitation will be held 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, May 2, 2022 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home and 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at the Mouth of Joe's Creek Church of Christ.
