Ralph Wayne Rose, Sr.

Ralph Wayne Rose, Sr., 74, of Somerset, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2020 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Jean Waddle Care Center.

He was born on April 2, 1946 in Pulaski County; son of the late William Louis & Edna Hazel (Woodall) Rose.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Jacqueline (Roberts) Rose; two sons, Ralph Wayne Rose, Jr. of Indiana and Christopher Rose of San Diego, California; a daughter, Jacqueline Eck of Bonaire, Georgia; a brother, Roger Dale Rose of Louisville; two sisters, Patricia Alice Rogers of Georgetown, Indiana and Judy Maynard of Florida; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Bud Rose; and two sisters, Diane Winsatt and Jenny Blanton.

A Funeral Service will be held 12:00 Noon Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Rogers officiating.

Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Post # 38.

Burial will be in West Science Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
