Rachel Estes

Rachel Estes, 82, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018.She was born in Leslie County, Kentucky on August 16, 1935, daughter of the late McKinly and Alice Caldwell Napier. Rachel was a kind, loving, caring person, always putting others first. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, sewing and trips with her senior friends. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Polly Ann Baptist Church until her failing health. She leaves behind her husband of 65 years, Junior Estes, two sons, Don & (Donna) Estes and Gary & (Beverly) Estes, one brother, Letcher Napier, three sisters, Geraldine Roark, Shirly Jones, Maudie Eaton, five grandchildren, Brad, Allen and Adam Estes, Justin and Jonathan Smith, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Shelby and Kermit Napier and five sisters, Fannie Brock, Opal Hunter, Francis Estes, Linda Brock and Hannah Caldwell.A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Harris officiating.Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery.Visitation will be after 12 Noon Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
