Quilla Roberts

March 24, 1925 — October 12, 2020

Quilla Mae Roberts, 95, of Somerset, passed away Monday, October 12, 2020 at the Jean Waddle Care Center.

She was born in Argyle, Kentucky on March 24, 1925; daughter of the late Everett and Vida Godbey. She was a foster grandparent, and worked at Oakwood for a number of years.

She is survived by her daughters, Omeda & (Clyde) Molen, Luetta Roberts, and Marie & (Tommy) Vaughn all of Somerset; a brother, David Godbey, and a sister, Ollie Godbey both of Ohio; fourteen grandchildren; thirty seven great-grandchildren; thirty great-great-grandchildren; four great-great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar "Oss" Roberts, a son, Arthur Roberts; a daughter, Evona "Beck" Harp; two sisters, Nannie Partin, and Mary Sneed; two brothers, Guston Godbey, and Edgar Godbey; two grandchildren, Tony Molen, and Hulda Molen; and one great-great-grandson, Timothy.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, October 16, 2020 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Sears officiating.

Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Thursday, October 16, 2020 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home, and after 9 AM Friday until time for services.
