Peggy Jean Perkins
June 22, 1932 — July 27, 2020
Peggy Jean Perkins, 88, of Science Hill, passed away Monday, July 27, 2020 at the Jean Waddle Care Center.
She was born on June 22, 1932 in Jeff, Kentucky; daughter of the late Chester & Vera Mae (Davidson) Combs. She was a member of Eubank Baptist Church where she attended her special Sunday School Class, The Sunshine. She was a retired Wal-mart employee.
She is survived by a son, Brian & (Daphne) Perkins of Science Hill; a daughter, Patty Colwell of Middletown, Ohio; three brothers, William & (Sharon) Combs of Somerset, Don Combs of Nicholasville, & James & (Mynne) Combs of Mesa, Arizona; four grandchildren, Kimberly Carroll, Stacie Davis, Chad Chrisman, & Brennan Perkins; and one great-grandchild, Logan Carroll.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fletcher Perkins; and a daughter, Pam Shiverdecker.
A funeral service will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, August 1, 2020 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Hughes & Bro. Shelby Reynolds officiating.
Burial will be in McKinney Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 10:00 AM Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
