Peggy Marie Hughes Forbes

Ms. Peggy Marie Hughes Forbes passed from this life into her heavenly home Monday April 1st, 2024, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Peggy was born November 1st, 1978, in Somerset, Kentucky to Cathy Neal Hughes and Eldie Wayne Hughes. Peggy was a dedicated daughter and granddaughter that shared her love with everyone.

Peggy is survived by her husband Scott Forbes of Eubank Kentucky, whom she married on November 1, 2008, her mother Cathy Neal Hughes, her brother William “Billy” Hughes both of Eubank, two aunts Debbie Wesley of Liberty and Elizabeth (Patrick) Eichmann of Nancy. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Kayla Williams of Eubank, Kentucky, and her father-in law Rick Forbes of Ohio, four special nieces and nephews, Khloe Hughes, Bella Hughes, Landon Williams, and Bentley McKee. She will be missed by several special cousins and friends.

Peggy is preceded in death by her son Richard Blake, Her father Eldie Wayne Hughes, her grandparents Bill and Peggy Neal and a special uncle Kenny Wesley.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, April 7, 2024, at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Williams officiating.

Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 1:00 PM Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
