Patricia Cindy Vaught, 72, of Science Hill, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022, at the Select Specialty Hospital in Danville.
She was born June 10, 1950, in Pulaski County; daughter of the late Linville & Doris (Kissee) Burkett. She was a retired manager of Pizza Hut in Somerset, where she worked for 40 years.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur Vaught; a son, Jesse Vaught; a daughter, Susan V. & (David) Acey; a brother, Willis & (Sharlett) Burkett; a sister, Merida & (George) Moore; four grandchildren, Jason, Jessica, Justin, & Hayden Vaught; and six great-grandchildren, Colton, Layla, Easton, Kerrigan, River, and Alexis.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Phillip K. & Franklin "Sonny" Burkett; a sister, Shelia Dawn Baker; a grandson, David M. Acey II; and a great-grandson, Kaeden R. Vaught.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, November 10, 2022, at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Bullock officiating.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 10:00 AM Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
