Patricia Ann McKee

Patricia Ann McKee, 88, of Science Hill, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Somerset Nursing & Rehab.

She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on March 7, 1937; daughter of the late Gid Chester and Iva Dean (James) Elliott. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Science Hill. A woman of generous spirit, she found great joy in helping others within her community and was known for always placing the needs of others before her own. She deeply cherished her family and treasured the simple pleasure of taking peaceful drives. She delighted in the beauty of flowers, loved tending to her garden, cooking and feeding others in her neighborhood, enjoyed crocheting, and had a special fondness for collecting unique rocks.

She is survived by her children, Jerry McKee, Terry & (Fran) McKee, Lesa & (Lanny) Holt, and Timmy Joe McKee; two brothers, Gerald & (Linda) Elliott, and Rod Elliott; grandchildren, Brandi & (Anthony) Price, Cody McKee, Amber & (Jamie) Singleton, Steve McKee, Douglas & (Caroline) McKee, Mason Holt, Maggie Holt, Jake Elizabeth McKee; great-grandchildren, Tristen Price, Kylie Price, Jayla Singleton, Sadie Singleton, Connor McKee, River Vaught, and Kerrigan Garrison.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Denzil Eugene "Snake" McKee; her parents; and a sister-in-law, Betty Elliott; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Goldie (Dick) McKee.

A funeral service will be held at 3 PM Monday, February 16, 2026 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Bullock officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 12 PM Monday, February 16, 2026 until time for services.
